The professor of the University of Murcia, Ildefonso Méndez, will speak, this Thursday, in Lorca about 'How to educate in the 21st century: Guidelines for parents and teachers' (28/01/2020)

The Councilor for Universities, María Ángeles Mazuecos, explained that "it is the second day of the cycle entitled 'The University of Murcia and scientific culture', organized by the University Campus of Lorca and the UMU".

The Councilor for Universities of the City of Lorca, María Ángeles Mazuecos, has informed, this morning, about the conference that will be held this Thursday, January 30, starting at 7.30 pm, at the Cultural Center Mayor José María Campoy Camacho de Lorca.

The mayor of Universities explained that "it is the second day of the cycle entitled 'The University of Murcia and scientific culture' organized by the University Campus of Lorca and the University of Murcia."

Mazuecos has detailed that "the talk will be given by the UMU professor, Ildefonso Méndez Martínez under the title 'How to educate in the 21st century: Guidelines for parents and teachers'".

The councilor recalled that "Méndez Martínez is a professor at the Department of Applied Economics at the UMU, Doctor in Economics since 2008 and teaches in Public Policies. He specializes in History of financial systems, Business History and Levels of life and well-being" .

Among his publications can be noted Flama learns to strive;

The treasure of Flama and his friends;

Moni learns to fulfill her dreams;

Moni and his friends learn to concentrate or A day with Nequi;

(all of them published by EDITUM);

as well as its collaboration in the regional financing model and its economic consequences for the Region of Murcia, published by the Economic and Social Council of the Region of Murcia and in Educational Transformation in the Community of Madrid, published by the Community of Madrid.

Is education in Spain preparing our sons and daughters for the future? Do parents have the knowledge and tools necessary to help them develop? In what sense should reform, according to scientific evidence, go? of the Spanish education system to contribute more to their long-term well-being ?, are some of the issues that Méndez will address, as well as the changes that must occur in education so that children have the necessary resources in order to achieve happiness, as well as personal and professional success.
