The Speaker of the Popular Party in the City of Lorca, Fulgencio Gil, has reported that before the passivity and inaction of the current local government, the parties that theoretically formed the opposition have had to take the initiative, following the proposal that has left from United Left .
Our feeling is that we are fed up with the forms, the background and the way of exercising government.
The current local government is exhausted, it is a failed and damaging experience for citizens, a direct consequence of the anomaly created in June last year.
They are totally unable to generate the slightest consensus with the rest of political formations.
It has not been necessary for many months to pass so that his ineffectiveness is in evidence.
Never in the history of Lorca had it been seen that we had to be the opposition parties that exercised government actions.
We attended the second major consecutive defeat of the current local government in the less than two months we have been in the year.
Actions in politics cannot be "thrown" at political groups without making the slightest attempt at dialogue.
We have warned you on countless occasions, we have repeated them to satiety, but they have not wanted to assume that they are a minority government.
What neither PSOE nor Citizens have been able to negotiate and agree, we have done.
And we can anticipate that on our part we will continue to agree on this type of project and budget modifications with the municipal groups that do have the initiative to work seriously and respectfully with their corporate partners.

Lorca is not experiencing a normal situation in the exercise of local government, and that is unquestionable at this point.
As Lorca already know, this is not working.
In 8 months of government they have not been able to appoint a CEO in Limusa, nor to approve their own municipal budgets (so those of the PP remain in force), and now we find a new stir because we are going to reject the modification budget they intended to impose without having negotiated anything.
They do not know how to reach agreements.
The budget modification has been an attempt to "sneak in" the same actions that already brought us as a draft municipal budget just a week ago.
At least on that occasion they were kind enough to meet us, although it was only to tell us that nothing could be changed.
But this time not even that.
We had to find out what it contained in the press, in an attempt to "order" to press the rest of the political groups with their supposed "goodness".
The current mayor has to be aware that his weakness in the government forces him to have to agree.
The stubbornness they have in doing things "cover" and acting as if they enjoyed an absolute majority has quickly turned against them.
The budget modification that they present to the Plenary Session of the Municipal Council does not respond to what Lorca needs.
Lorca people do not want to cut almost 53,000 euros in social policies, while, for example, they intend to shoot spending on propaganda by 66% (increasing the game to 200,000 euros).
We have agreed on an amendment to the budget modification that PSOE and citizens wanted to impose on us, much more just and rigorous, preventing them from lowering spending on various social items, and allowing projects that citizens demanded to execute, among them we can quote 198,200 euros for development of the UA-23 in the neighborhood of San Cristóbal, 160,000 euros for 4 new places of local police for this same neighborhood, and we keep other actions already planned, such as the maintenance of the municipal nursery of La Paca.
