Sosa thus rejects the unfounded accusations of the councilor of the Treasury, which holds his municipal group responsible for not being able to pay what was agreed to the officials for not having supported the Budget

Pedro Sosa, spokesman councilor of Izquierda Unida Verdes in the town hall of Lorca, accompanied by Gloria Martín, mayor of the same group, announced this morning his support for municipal officials to apply the salary increase promised to them in plenary December 2018.

In the meeting held yesterday with the City Council Personnel Board, the Councilor for Finance, Isidro Abellán, blamed IU for his vote against the Municipal Budget for not being able to meet said salary increase.

For Sosa, these fallacious statements are another example, that Mr. Abellán takes us all for fools, and the only thing he demonstrates with them is his own lack of lights.

Sosa has reminded the mayor of the Treasury, that both the Personnel Board, and IU, know that one of the powers of the Mayor, is to be able to make transfers by Mayor's Decree to the Personnel Chapter of the Budget, without needing an agreement of Plenary in that sense, "after I did not blame us for their disastrous and more than proven management capacity."

"If you do not pay the officials what has been agreed upon, hiding in lies for it, I recommend that you leave," since it is shameful that a party, which according to its acronym is described as "Worker", attempts so vilely against the interests of the workers, whom I should defend, as we do from IU, with nails and teeth.

Finally, Sosa has encouraged the trade union centrals to go to the Social Court to defend this right that they have recognized and has strongly criticized that Mr. Calventus, union delegate of the UGT in the City Council, has aligned himself with the thesis of the Mr. Abellán, behaving more like a grateful belly in the service of the PSOE, than as a defender of the rights of his companions.
