After almost half a year of waiting the residents of La Pulgara remain without a solution to their problem, despite the existing concern regarding the degree of deterioration presented by the sanitary floor of the building that houses these facilities
The Councilor for Citizen Participation in the City of Lorca by the Popular Party, Mari Huertas García, has demanded that the current local government urgently proceed to repair the damages that are affecting the social premises of the district of La Pulgara, as they have been claiming the neighbors themselves for several months now, without having received any response from the City Council.
Mari Huertas García explained that 5 months ago we referred the problem in this municipal building to the current mayor, but they have done nothing.
It was on October 2 when we presented a letter requesting that it be acted swiftly, since as reported by the users of the social premises, the ground seems to be yielding.
This fact is credited by the photographs that confirm the existence of unevenness in the firm's premises, apparently derived from conditions in the building slab.
Since that letter, presented 5 months ago, we have not had a response from the current local government, a circumstance that reflects the apathy and exhaustion of an overflowing team and unable to solve the problems of Lorca.
We believe that they have had more than enough time to carry out the relevant actions in relation to the existing problems with the sanitary floor.
In fact, we have been able to verify that a part of the floor has been displaced, causing cracks and serious damage to the ground.
We are talking about subsidence that has also caused fractures in the firm of the premises, with the consequent breakage of the tiles, and the appearance of an authentic step in one of the rooms of the building.
We must remember that this place was subject to an extension years ago, and the concrete slab of the annexed construction was not "sewn" with the previous one, generating frictions between both structures and the current problems.
The sanitary floor, in addition, also suffers from conditions due to recently appeared humidity, which are aggravating the main problem.
From the Popular Party we have visited the residents of the Pulgara and after hearing their concerns, we find it convenient to request the immediate execution of these actions in their social premises, since, due to the rains of last September, it has been possible to verify that there are water leaks through one of its rooms, creating humidity.
