Isidro Abellán recalled that "the delay in bidding has been due to the improvements that have been introduced in the initial project, such as, for example, the extension of the premises for hotel use, as well as other rooms."

The intention now, according to Abellán, is that "the rehabilitation can begin as soon as possible, it is estimated that once the contract is signed it may be next month" and recalled that "the tender budget amounts to 1.8 million euros and the term of execution of the planned works will be 12 months ".

The councilor has insisted that "it is one more step to make the goal of making Sutullena's Coso a reality in a multipurpose space in which musical, cultural, and sports representations, among others, can be accommodated."

The project contemplates a capacity of 4,500 spectators, about 800 in a box and 3,500 in the laying, being reduced by the adaptation to the accessibility law and the necessary adjustments in terms of security.

It will also have a commercial area of ​​1,000 square meters, included in these improvements, in addition to a bullfighting museum and the headquarters of the Bullfighting Club of Lorca.
