Writer Andrés Guerrero and former Minister Ãngeles González Sinde protagonists of the next two days of 'Meetings with author' (24/02/2020)

The Municipal Library Network continues with its program to promote reading through talks between renowned writers and schoolchildren in the schools of Lorca.

The Councilor for Education of the City of Lorca, Antonia Pérez, recalled the continuation of one of the meetings of 'Meetings with Author' organized by the Municipal Network of Libraries.

Pérez explained that "continuing with the programming of organized visits to carry out this new edition of 'Meetings with Author', tomorrow, February 25, the writer Andrés Guerrero will talk with about 300 first and second year students of Secondary Education Institutes José Ibañez Martín and Príncipe de Asturias, about his book 'Blanco de tigre', and will take place in the auditorium of the Cultural Center Mayor José María Campoy ".

The Edil has indicated that "tomorrow will be the second meeting of this writer since Andrés Guerrero has met today with 150 students of the first section of Primary Education at the José Robles and San Francisco de Asís schools, in the Children's and Youth Library, located on the third floor of the Cultural Center ".

Pérez Segura explained that "Andrés Guerrero is a writer from Cáceres, from Trujillo, born in 1958 who began his professional career publishing humorous cartoons in magazines, years later, to the illustration of children's books, some written by himself. Also, in 2009 he won the CCEI Illustration Prize with his work 'Five Little Sheep' and, in 2019, he won the Wide Angle Prize for his work 'Tiger White'. "
