The activity '' A citizen, a tree 'has the collaboration of the City Council and the support of the Mountaineering Federation of the Region, the Natur Actúa Association and the Collective of Ghanaians of Lorca.
The Councilor for the Environment of the City of Lorca, José Luis Ruiz Guillén has announced that this Sunday, March 1, there will be a new day of planting trees under the title "A citizen, a tree", organized by the Club Senderista La Carrasca de Lorca in collaboration with the City of Lorca.
The Councilor for the Environment has detailed that "this day will take place in the surroundings of Los Pilones at the entrance to the path of the Cejo de los Enamorados where about 200 trees and shrubs of the carob, olive tree, carrasco pine and Lentisk
The meeting place will be the Caño de Agua de Los Pilones at 8.30 hours with an approximate duration of two hours.
The activity, which is done under the motto "Plant a tree today to give you oxygen, shade and life tomorrow", has the backing of the Mountaineering Federation of the Region of Murcia, the Natur Actúa Association and the Ghanaian Collective from Lorca.
The organizers remember that it is not necessary to register in advance, just being on Sunday before the start time and although from the organization they carry everything, they would appreciate if someone carries a hoe and a large bottle of water.
Ruiz Guillén recalled that "this activity, which each edition brings together numerous people willing to collaborate in the preservation of our natural environment, is open to all those who want to participate spend a pleasant time contributing to the conservation of our environment."
