Emergency services have had to rescue and transfer to the hospital the driver of a van, which has been injured when leaving the road and falling down an embankment, on the A-7 motorway, at the height of Lorca.
The 1-1-2 received, at 10.20 hours, the call of the injured person (male, 36 years old), who said he was injured and trapped inside his vehicle.
Firefighters from the Firefighting and Rescue Consortium of the Region of Murcia (CEIS) and a Mobile Emergency Unit (UME) with health personnel from the Emergency and Health Emergencies Department 061 were mobilized to the place.
After being rescued from the interior of the vehicle by firefighters, the injured man was stabilized and taken by the UME to the "Rafael Méndez" hospital in Lorca, where he has entered polytrauma.
