CCOO denounces the breach by the government team (PSOE-C's) of the Agreement on Working Conditions and the Collective Agreement, approved unanimously in the Plenary held in November 2018 (25/02/2020)

The union section of CCOO in the City of Lorca has denounced today the breach by the government team (PSOE-C's) of the Agreement on Working Conditions and Collective Agreement, signed and approved unanimously in the Plenary held on November 29, 2018, and whose validity extends to the period between the years 2019 to 2021.

On February 19, the Councilor for Personnel and Internal Affairs, Mr. Isidro Abellán, summoned the union representatives of the public employees of the City of Lorca to announce that the government team could not comply with the agreements that the PSOE once approved in plenary session and for whose signature he congratulated himself, alleging that it was impossible for them to assume the pacts contained therein since the municipal budget had not been approved, thus holding the rest of the political groups responsible for said non-compliance.

The Councilor delegated Personnel did not present any report from the General Intervention or the Directorate of the Budget Office that legally supports the announced breach.

The extension of the budget has been the perfect excuse of the current government team to stop applying some agreements, closed after hard negotiations, in which he has never believed and that, apparently, believes that they do not concern him.

CCOO urges Mr. Mayor of Lorca so that immediately and without excuses by that Municipal Government and especially his Councilor for Personnel, the social dialogue is resumed and full compliance with the agreements adopted with the public employees of the City of Lorca;

commitments that he assumed and ratified personally after being invested as well as the rest of the commitments reached included in the Human Resources Management Plan and the new Catalog of Jobs, since nine months have elapsed since his entry into the Municipal Corporation without being there is progress in the negotiations and in compliance with them.
