The Councilor for Rural Development in the City of Lorca for the Popular Party, Ángel Meca, has called on the Municipal Consistory to proceed immediately to carry out the work of cleaning and conditioning road margins in the hamlet of Cazalla, collecting the continuous neighborhood complaints that are being transferred to the Municipal Popular Group by residents in this district.
These people denounce the lack of attention that the current local government is demonstrating in this regard and whose effects are suffering both the neighbors themselves and all the drivers that pass through the area.
We must point out that the indolence of the current local government with this matter has caused that in some sections of roads and highways the height of the weeds that accumulate in the margins prevents the correct visibility required to guarantee road safety.
The neighbors, in addition, have transferred us that this problem has been brought to the attention of the municipal officials on repeated occasions, without having obtained any response to date, something that we do not consider receipt.
That is why we demand that the current mayor visit the districts more and attend to the needs of the citizens, and that his councilors do the same, instead of remaining hidden in the offices and without picking up the phone to anyone.
From the Popular Party we demand that the neighbors be paid attention, urgently proceeding to the cleaning of the mentioned accumulation of weeds, and that it be done immediately, since precisely with the arrival of spring and the rise in temperatures , the brush will grow exponentially, further interfering in traffic safety for people who use these communication channels.
The neighborhood complaints are particularly focused on the roads of Felí, Vereda de los Seguras and the Brazal del Cañarejo, but extend to almost all of the road network of this deputation.
Ángel Meca has indicated that the PP insists on the need to provide public lighting for the Central, Felí, Puente Alto and Vereda de los Seguras roads, and to address the repair of the Ronco Bridge crossing, the Veil Lane, and improve the park, the sports court and the social premises, as it was already shown since this political formation before the Plenary Session of the City Council last October.
It should be remembered that the district of Cazalla is one of the most populous and has the greatest economic and social diversity in our municipality.
Both because of its large population, as well as its great economic activity, it is conceived as a nucleus of a lively, dynamic population and, therefore, demanding services and public investments that continue to improve the quality of life of the residents of this beautiful corner of the city. orchard lorquina.
We have to underline the work carried out by its associative fabric, which over the past few years has carried out its activity in a discreet and humble manner, achieving great achievements and advances for its district and its neighbors, achievements always aimed at improving and welfare of its people.
From the PP we demand that the City Council give the residents of Cazalla the attention they deserve, as has been done in recent years, a period in which investments such as the modernization of irrigation, construction of the Greenway have been materialized , execution of the new Medical Center and the medicine cabinet, start-up of the playground, improvement and remodeling of the old Águilas road, with the incorporation of a green road, improvement of the D-10 road, improvement and extension of the roads Monzón, Vereda Alta, Los Seguras road, Puente Alto, Central road, Cañarejo, among others.
