The councilor of the Municipal Municipal Group in the City of Lorca, María Belén Pérez, has asked the current mayor to proceed to relieve the Councilor of Finance, Isidro Abellán, as soon as possible, due to his proven negotiating disability, which is causing the blocking of the management areas that are within its competence.
Belén Pérez has indicated that from the PP we believe that Mr. Abellán is a person with sufficient potential, training and experience to develop public management tasks and do so even with solvency, so we will not fall into the error of requesting his termination, but We propose that Mr. Mateos, who is harming the current mayor of the Treasury with his inability to reach agreements, be entrusted with the performance of other functions.
The collective agreement has to be fulfilled and cannot be harmed by the political whims of the current government team.
This agreement cannot be affected by the councilor's inability to agree on the budget.
If you have not been able to agree on a budget, it is your problem, not that of the officials.
We must clarify that the personnel chapter can be modified with a simple signature of the mayor.
Nothing else is needed.
We will not let them violate their rights.
They have to fulfill the agreements and the mandate of the Plenary, which they themselves approved.
Mr. Mateos has to assume that to govern is to make decisions, even though you do not like them or may affect the order of your own municipal group, but what we are not willing to accept is that the Lorca people continue to pay the consequences of a councilor of the Treasury who cannot carry out the most basic work of his management areas.
It is obvious that this does not work and that it will get worse.
Now they have loaded the social dialogue with the representatives of the City Council workers themselves, who have tried to deceive them, assuring them that they will breach the agreement agreed, blaming the opposition political groups.
It is unfortunate that the representatives of the officials themselves had to remind Mr. Abellán that the mayor can order credit transfers between items when the expense affects personnel matters.
We believe that the mayor has to move token, make decisions and rectify the appointment of Mr. Abellán as mayor of the Treasury, appointing among his team another person who does have the capacity and spirit of consensus, who simply knows how to negotiate and remains open to agreements with all the municipal groups, something that they had to have tried from the first moment instead of loading the social dialogue.
They have taken a dictatorial drift with authentic chieftains who have clouded due institutional loyalty among the municipal corporation
We demand the current mayor to unlock this situation and cease the discussions we are seeing both in the Information Commissions and in the Plenary, caused by the arrogant, arrogant and arrogant attitude that is being imposed within the current local government.
This can not go on like this.
