The Deputy Mayor and Councilor for Tourism, Francisco Morales, has informed that from his council they will proceed to open to the public the existing toilets in the parking lot located in the area of ​​Los Pilones, at the foot of the Castle.
This space will serve both visitors and tourists who park their vehicles to visit the Fortress of the Sun and the multitude of Lorca who frequent the area every weekend, from where the busy road to the Lover's Eyebrow starts.
Morales explained that "these toilets, which are currently closed, have been enabled and will be open to the public to serve the demand of people who frequent the area especially on weekends. And there are many people that travel the route that begins there, both for hiking, running, cycling, or just for family walking and enjoy that little piece of nature that we have next to the city. "
For this reason, and responding to the demand of many citizens, the Department of Tourism of Lorca will be responsible for the opening of toilets on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
These are two rooms that have toilets and their respective toilets, and are separated for men and women, both with toilets adapted for people with disabilities.
