From the Federation of Women's Organizations of Lorca, we want to inform the Lorca company of the 8th March “Ángela Ruíz Sánchez†Awards that this year we will meet the eleventh edition.
To emphasize that it has been an achievement on the part of the Federation to continuously maintain the objective that we set out 11 years ago that as a non-profit entity and without financial resources, the idea of ​​making women, entities and people who had or They will stand out for defending equality between men and women within the municipality.
It is our commitment and obligation to make visible in a public, plural and diverse act, the importance of designating women, men and groups working for equality, which is currently recognized but we have a long way to go.
We are proud to celebrate 11 years of awards, to have recognized so many women, groups, organizations continuing with a challenge as exciting as it is to go step by step, leaving a mark, opening ways for the next generations to have true real equality Because we are present, we make future while looking at the past.
The awards ceremony is framed within the activities related to the March 8 International Day of the Rights of Working Women.
The event will take place on Saturday, March 7 at the Riscal Hotel in Puerto Lumbreras at 8:45 p.m. and later there will be a gala dinner that will begin at 9:30 p.m.
The evening will be energized with the musical performance by "Deep Eyes"

Lorca Youth Council
Remodeled completely since its new board of directors since June 2018, with a journey of 26 years, nowadays it is made up of about thirty associations.
It promotes and promotes associationism so that they participate in society, with advice, information, resources to be able to carry out their own activities, working on values ​​such as the fight for world peace, the fight for effective equality and offering a tool against administrations or other associations, at local and regional level, so that youth between the ages of 14 and 30 have a unique voice.
