The Councilor of the Popular Party in the City of Lorca, Antonio David Sánchez, has asked the current local government to proceed as soon as possible to hold a meeting with the residents of Coy to inform them of the work and projects that are being carried out on the part of Aguas de Lorca in this district, given the deep malaise that exists among the citizens, who denounce the total misinformation they are suffering on the completion of the works, and that is leading them to think that the purpose of these actions is derivation of the spring water from which the district is supplied to uses that have not been disclosed to the residents of Coy.
We consider it appropriate that in the event that the current government has decided to alter the water distribution system of the Coyno spring, an explanation is offered to the neighbors, which allows clarifying what is happening.
The reality is that the situation that is being lived in the district on this matter is of great concern, just as those affected have made it clear to us.
We consider it necessary that the current mayor inform the neighbors of all the details that have to do with the actions of Aguas de Lorca, so that they have all the information and can clear up the uncertainty that exists right now.
The neighbors deserve to have all the details, and we demand that they be offered a well-argued explanation of the actions underway, including, as they have asked us, to be able to consult the plans of the works and the objective of the introduced pipeline .
We must bear in mind that Coy has a natural water birth that allows residents to supply without the need to bring water resources from these sites.
We are talking about a resource that has been managed directly by the City Council for several years, given that it is a municipal competition.
From the PP they have also demanded that the necessary improvements be made to guarantee the tightness of the equipment that transmits the television signal to the neighbors of the district of Coy, and that they carry out in parallel a study that allows the update of these systems for the introduction of 5G technology in this area.
Our goal is to end the shadow areas that exist in different enclaves of this district, preventing all neighbors from tuning in to the television and digital radio channels available in the vast majority of Spanish territory.
Antonio David Sánchez has proposed that the current local government get to work on this issue and submit the corresponding applications to attend the multiple calls for aid from public administrations in this regard.
What the neighbors want is to stop suffering this type of incidents every time weather phenomena such as winds, rain or snow are recorded.
The existing problem is that the transmitting equipment of the television signal does not have the necessary isolation and tightness, so there are already many occasions in which especially the water has affected the equipment, damaging them and leaving the citizens without the service they provide
Another proposal is to renew all the banks of the church, which are very deteriorated, so we claim that the City Council, through the services available to the Department of Local Development and as it has been done on numerous occasions, proceed to the renovation of the banks of the church of Coy.
