This Friday and Saturday there will be traffic cuts on Avenida Juan Carlos I on the occasion of the celebration of the 'IX Rallye Highlands of Lorca' (04/03/2020)

The ban will affect between 7:00 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. on Friday, March 6, and 5 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 7;

and the urban bus stops on Avenida Juan Carlos I, both in the Apolonia neighborhood and Rafael Méndez hospital, will also remain out of service.

The Councilor for Citizen Security and Traffic of the City of Lorca, José Luis Ruiz Guillén, has informed that on the occasion of the celebration of the "IX Rallye Highlands of Lorca", this next Friday and Saturday, March 6 and 7, will be cut on Traffic on Juan Carlos I Avenue, between Ovalo and Musso Valiente.

The mayor of Citizen Security has detailed that "this prohibition for which special traffic rules will be established will be in force between 7:00 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. on Friday and 5 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. on Saturday."

José Luis Ruiz has indicated that "the traffic will be cut in the Avenida Juan Carlos I, from Ovalo to C / Musso Valiente, leaving the rest of Juan Carlos I available both ways only for garage and vehicle users intended for loading and unloading of goods ".

Ruiz Guillén added that "the urban bus stops on Juan Carlos I Avenue, both in the Apolonia neighborhood and Rafael Méndez hospital, will remain out of service, so an alternative itinerary will be provided by detouring through Ovalo, Alameda Cervantes, Avda. Mayor José Antonio Gallego, Calle Poeta Para Vico, Avda. Santa Clara, Avda. Europa and the usual route.

The mayor explained that "users of garages and other vehicles destined for loading and unloading and public car parks that circulate along Santa Clara Avenue, towards Ciudad Oval Center, will be diverted by Europa Avenue, San Cristóbal Neighborhood - La Alberca Bridge, street Santo Domingo, Lope Gisbert to Oval, including city buses that go to the hospital. "

Ruiz has stressed that "in addition to these detours, local police officers will monitor the itineraries, for the best development of traffic safety in our city."
