The Councilor for Education and Libraries of the City of Lorca, Antonia Pérez, recalled that due to the situation we are experiencing due to the coronavirus crisis, which, among other measures, has led to the closure of municipal libraries, there are several actions that have been adopted, among others, to continue allowing Lorca and Lorca to come closer to reading.

The Councilor for Libraries has reiterated that "from the # RedMunicipaldeBibliotecasdeLorca we want to continue to feel very close to our users, despite the distance and the circumstances, so we make it easier these days at home, during which you can enjoy our resources online to read, watch and listen, and for which only the library card and access to the platform with your ID and year of birth will be necessary. In addition, you can do them from your pc, tablet or mobile. "

And for those who do not have a library card, they can send an email to librarylorca@lorca.es with the DNI, date of birth, name and surname, full address, mobile phone and email to obtain the access data.

Antonia Pérez highlighted "the possibility that we have to continue reading and watching movies from home for free through eBiblio Murcia https://murcia.ebiblio.es/opac/#login where we will be able to find books and audiobooks on all topics and ages, as well as newspapers and magazines and eFilm Murcia (https://murciaefilm.es/es/murcia/) where we will find films and documentaries of all genres, current and always.

The councilor has reiterated that the # RedMunicipaldeBibliotecasdeLorca will be happy to answer any questions about loans, the use of the eBiblio and eFilm loan platforms, in addition to all those proposals that they want to send us, so they can write to us at librarylorca @ lorca. it is .

Pérez Segura recalled that on the blog: https://bibliotecasmunicipalesdelorca.blogspot.com you can find all the information, suggestions, news related to the world of books, in addition to being able to do it on our social networks such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter .

Antonia Pérez has detailed that "in these days when we all have to stay home to fight the coronavirus, our #Weteleemos project becomes more useful if possible. We remember that it is a large bank of sound stories that brings together narratives of Recognized authors, read by Lorca's voices and directed in principle, to elderly people with difficulties in reading, and in general for people with special needs, but these days at home it can be useful for all of us and which we can access through the address https://nosotrosteleemos.blogspot.com/ ".

Finally, the Councilor for Libraries has made a call to those readers who have books on loan at home so they do not worry since the return periods have been extended.
