After the first moments of frustration at not being able to process this year, the Paso Blanco wants to transmit a message of optimism, solidarity and joy for our Easter.
From the white brotherhood various activities have been prepared for whites and whites to participate and feel Easter.
The most important of them has a solidarity aspect and is intended to raise funds to provide medical supplies to our healthcare professionals.
With the slogan "This year the Virgin wants carnations to be for those who need them the most", the Ladies Choir of Our Lady of Bitterness has launched a campaign to sell virtual carnations.
The cost of the carnation is 2 euros, and it can be purchased until next April 10 (Good Friday), and all the money raised will go towards the purchase of FFP3 masks that will be donated to the Hospital Rafael Méndez de Lorca.
Later, when the situation allows, these carnations will become a reality at the feet of the Virgin in the Chapel of the Rosary.
In addition to this solidarity campaign, the Paso Blanco has launched various activities to encourage people from Lorca to celebrate our most outstanding days and to adorn their balconies with the hangings of the brotherhood.
The first activity began on March 17 on the social networks of El Paso, where a test question related to the history and heritage of the brotherhood is launched every day.
In this way, whites and whites can participate and learn a little more about Paso Blanco and our Easter.
With a view to next Palm Sunday, the confreres have been asked that the Hebrew People "parade through the Internet" through their photographs dressed as Hebrews, whether they are current in their homes or from previous years.
