The disinfection tasks that will take place tomorrow, Friday, April 3, from 8 in the morning to 3 in the afternoon, will be carried out by 125 personnel, 16 trucks, 5 rapid intervention vehicles and 5 motor pumps.

The Councilor for Emergencies of the Lorca City Council, Isabel Casalduero, has reported the disinfection of common spaces in the urban area that will be carried out by the forest brigades of the Autonomous Community.

Casalduero explained that "tomorrow, Friday, April 3, the members of the forest brigades of the General Directorate for the Environment will carry out a thorough disinfection, already through irrigation with a disinfectant solution, of public spaces in the urban area of ​​Lorca."

The Edil has detailed that "a total of 125 personnel and 16 trucks with a capacity of 4,000 liters, 5 800-liter rapid intervention vehicles and 5 motor pumps with a capacity of 400 liters will travel to our municipality to carry out these disinfection tasks" .

Casalduero Jódar has indicated that "the disinfection tasks, which will be carried out in the common spaces of the urban area of ​​the city, will begin at 8 in the morning and end at 3 in the afternoon".

The Councilor for Emergencies has recommended to the population "to close doors and windows, as well as not to leave clothes or pets on terraces and balconies due to the use of cleaning products such as bleach in aqueous solution, of a highly disinfecting nature."

Isabel Casalduero thanked "the collaboration of the forest brigades belonging to the General Directorate of the Environment in the disinfection tasks of the busiest spaces in our municipality with the aim of slowing down the advance of the coronavirus."
