The mayor held a videoconference meeting with the representatives of Ceclor, the Chamber of Commerce, the UGT, the Workers' Commissions, as well as the Councilors for Commerce and Finance with the aim of pooling forecasts and ideas to tackle the future economic crisis derived from the health emergency caused by the coronavirus.

The Mayor of Lorca, Diego José Mateos, has taken stock of the meeting held this morning with the representatives of Ceclor, Chamber of Commerce, UGT and Workers Commissions as well as the councilors of Finance and Commerce of the city.

Mateos explained that "I have held a meeting, by videoconference, with the economic and social agents of the city with the aim of pooling forecasts and ideas in relation to the future economic crisis that the paralysis of national activity will cause with reason for the health emergency we are experiencing right now. "

The First Mayor explained that "it is a matter of anticipating how to act, how to face the economic crisis that is coming once we manage to eradicate the coronavirus, the most important thing at the moment."

Mateos Molina has announced that "we are going to hold regular meetings to agree on the measures that the Lorca City Council is going to adopt in economic and social matters without forgetting that coordinated measures will be essential not only with the regional and national administration but also a plan for reactivation from the European Union ".

The Mayor of Lorca has shown that "we have to work together so that this health crisis affects, as little as possible, both workers and small and medium-sized entrepreneurs and self-employed workers who are affected by this situation. .

Diego José Mateos has assured that "the City Council will contribute its grain of sand to make the economic affection that both companies and families have to face due to this health crisis as light as possible and we will do so acting jointly with the Lorca's social and economic agents, as well as with the rest of the public administrations ".
