The City of Lorca, thanks to the work of the members of Emergencies and Civil Protection of the city, manages to increase the security of the troops who fight daily against the coronavirus.
The Councilor for Emergencies of the Lorca City Council, Isabel Casalduero, has taken stock of the operation of the Integrated Vehicle Disinfection Station located in the Emergency and Security Center as a result of the health emergency caused by Covid-19.
Casalduero explained that "in the 'Lorca 360' Comprehensive Vehicle Disinfection Station, in just over a week, more than 200 vehicles from the emergency, security and health services of our municipality have attended, serving a daily average of between 20 and 50 vehicles: cars, SUVs, vans and ambulances. "
The Edil has detailed that "specifically, this disinfection system consists of a cabin with three pressure spray arches, two horizontal and one longitudinal, which allows all parts of the vehicle to be reached, with a solution of water and bleach and carry out a first phase of external disinfection and, immediately afterwards, the second phase begins, the disinfection of the interior of the vehicle carried out by means of a high pressure spray gun ".
Casalduero Jódar has indicated that "the fundamental objective of this project, launched by the members of the Emergency and Civil Protection Service of Lorca, is to generate additional barriers for the protection of the staff of Emergencies, Civil Protection, Local Police, National Police , Civil Guard and Ambulances of Lorca against the coronavirus, as well as increasing the protection of patients transferred in the case of medical vehicles. "
The Councilor for Emergencies recalled that "from the City of Lorca we launched this new initiative, which has been very well received by professionals since it increases the security of the troops who daily fight against the Covid-19".
The forest brigades will disinfect tomorrow the busiest spaces of the industrial estates and the districts of La Paca and Zarcilla de Ramos
Isabel Casalduero has announced that "just as happened last week in the urban area of ​​the city, tomorrow morning the members of the forest brigades of the General Directorate for the Environment will carry out the tasks of disinfecting common spaces and more transited both in the polygons of Saprelorca and La Hoya and in the districts of La Paca and Zarcilla de Ramos ".
The Edil de Emergencias has revealed that "it is a further step in the disinfection of our districts and centers where essential activities are carried out to guarantee the protection of our neighbors. Work that is added to that from the City Council of Lorca we are carrying out thanks to the municipal cleaning company, the Department of Parks and Gardens, the staff of Emergencies and Civil Protection, without forgetting the collaboration of many farmers and ranchers who have put their working machinery at the service of their city to collaborate in the disinfection of our streets and prevent contagion by coronavirus.
