The Councilor for Education of the City of Lorca, Antonia Pérez, has reported the launch of a coordination service for the collection of study materials in the educational centers of the municipality.

Pérez explained that "from the City of Lorca, through the Department of Education, we have informed all educational centers of the possibility of organizing a coordinated collection of teaching materials and books so that the students of the municipality can continue training at home while the suspension of classes lasts due to the health crisis we are experiencing. "

The Edil has detailed that "specifically, what we want is to take advantage of the outings that parents have to carry out either to make the purchase or to go to work and make them coincide with a pre-established and supervised pick-up schedule. that this collection is carried out individually and following all the necessary parameters to guarantee the safety of both those who collect these materials and the person who is in the center, proceeding with the distribution. "

Pérez Segura has indicated that "in those cases in which no member of the family can carry out the collection because they are in quarantine, from the Department of Education and with the collaboration of the Local Police we will send these materials to all homes. "

The Councilor for Education has shown that "it is also about all those boys and girls having easy access to the training content that each one of the centers in Lorca is developing in such a way that internet access is not essential".
