| For the adoption of economic and social measures that reduce the effect of the coronavirus | The mayor has held a meeting, by videoconference, with the spokespersons of the municipal groups in which everyone has promised to make contributions to "put measures that reduce their condition on our neighbors and, of course, on our self-employed and businessmen " The mayor of Lorca, Diego José Mateos, holds a videoconference meeting with the spokesmen of all the municipal groups to agree to hold an Extraordinary Plenary in which economic and social measures are agreed to reduce the effect of the health crisis. Mateos has announced that "this morning, the spokespersons of all the municipal groups have held a meeting by videoconference in the first place to share the situation of our municipality regarding the health crisis that affects us and, also, we have taken stock of the measures that the Consistory has been adopting during all these days ". The First mayor explained that "likewise, we have all agreed to continue working, in a coordinated manner, and above all to go a step further and propose other measures of an economic and social nature that will be reflected in an Extraordinary Plenary that is going to celebrate, predictably, the last week of April or at the latest during the first days of May and for which all groups have committed to make contributions.
" Mateos Molina has indicated that "the objective of this plenary session is to debate and agree on the proposals of the different municipal groups regarding this economic and social crisis caused by the coronavirus and that we all have to shoulder our shoulders to put measures that reduce its condition in our neighbors and, of course, our freelancers and entrepreneurs.
" The Mayor of Lorca has stressed that "from the City of Lorca, we will be sensitive to these proposals and we will launch all those that are feasible and, of course, that are agreed with the representative entities of merchants, freelancers, entrepreneurs and hoteliers.
It is about acting in a planned way so that no problem arises that prevents the compatibility of aid or measures or makes its justification difficult.
" Diego José Mateos has revealed "the good predisposition of all the spokesmen of the groups that make up the Municipal Corporation to continue advancing and that Lorca continues to count on these low levels of contagion, levels that are everyone's task and, therefore, we can't let our guard down about it.
