Great repercussion of Lorca's virtual Easter campaign "The Procession Goes Inside" with the hashtag # PasiónEnCasa (17/04/2020)

The City Council of Lorca highlights the great reception that the initiative of the Department of Tourism has had in collaboration with the Department of Easter, our brotherhoods and ComarcalTV; next week the winners of the photo contest will be announced.The Deputy Mayor and Councilor for Tourism, Francisco Morales, has released the data of the Easter campaign planned for social networks and created by the Department of Tourism in collaboration with the Department of Easter, led by José Luis Ruiz Guillén, our brotherhoods and Comarcal TV.

Called "The Procession Goes Inside", this campaign offered a virtual alternative to live a Holy Week 2020 that has been interrupted by the confinement derived from the current State of Alarm in the face of the health crisis.

This initiative was intended to channel both the official Easter program, the virtual activities of the brotherhoods and the local television broadcasts Comarcal TV; as well as encouraging Lorca to share their experience of this Easter from home.After Easter, the Department of Tourism has taken stock of the data collected on social networks, as well as in the web space enabled on the tourism page for the purpose during the 12 days it has been in force.

Francisco Morales has highlighted the "great impact of the promotional campaign, as well as the good reception by the people of Lorca.

Lorca could not be left without Easter, and that is why this government team went to work to offer an alternative to the traditional celebration, which has been very well received by the citizens of Lorca ".Specifically, and in relation to Facebook, the Tourism account of Lorca has experienced a net growth of 113 new followers during the 12 days, compared to 88 in the entire month of February.

The promoted campaign publication obtained a total of 3,909 interactions, with 306 clicks on the link to the virtual Easter program.

"In total, a total of 32 publications have been launched through Facebook during the 12 days mentioned, reaching a total of 184,439 impressions," Morales said.The other of the large social networks in which this campaign has been announced is Twitter, where the tweets launched have achieved more than 41,600 impressions.

The hashtag proposed by the department, # PasiónEnCasa, has been used, according to Twitter statistics, a total of 4,605 ??times since April 1, results that include unique publications and retweets, which gives an average use of 383 times daily.Regarding the data of the web space, the space enabled for "The Procession Goes Inside", where the information of the virtual program was published, as well as the different summary videos of the events and processions, have received a total of 8,216 visits ."All this leads us to underline the great impact that the campaign has obtained on social networks, exceedingly fulfilling the objective set.

Throughout the city, decorated balconies and a festive atmosphere have shifted to social networks due to confinement.

The prizes consist of: 2 packs for two people with 2 chairs in the box to see the Good Friday Procession of Holy Week in Lorca 2021 (most accompanying person, that is, a total of four chairs); 2 guided visits for one person and their companion, one to the Museo del Bordados del Paso Blanco, MuBbla, and the other to the Blue Museum of Holy Week, MASS (a total of 2 visits, each one for two people); 1 guided tour for two people "The other Easter" for Easter 2021; and 2 packs of audiovisual material on Easter in Lorca on loan from Comarcal TV.
