| "We will do whatever it takes to get ahead" | The exceptional situation generated by the pandemic and the extreme seriousness of the social, economic and health context in which we find ourselves, will force the consistory to make decisions and execute equally urgent and exceptional measures, many of them unprecedented in the municipality.The effort made by the high institutions of the State, to "buffer" or "sweeten" reality, should not make us lose consciousness that we are probably facing the worst possible scenario since the end of the Civil War.The application by the City Council of the urgent and necessary measures that we have proposed, in terms of tax breaks and rebates, as well as the reinforcement of municipal social services, will require budgetary modifications and the reorientation of partially executed economic items.From subsidies to municipal groups, to the budget of government areas that, due to the conditions imposed by the state of alarm, will not carry out their projects normally.In order for all these needs to be addressed effectively, maximizing the resources available, we have proposed to the government team to carry out a new budget project that takes into account the exceptional situation in which we find ourselves.
