On the occasion of the health crisis, the Ministry of Education of the Region of Murcia has implemented several systems that allow not to physically go to schools for the presentation of the official documentation necessary for the admission process of students for the 2020/2021 academic year . The Councilor for Education of the City of Lorca, Antonia Pérez, has reported the implementation of the telematic route for the presentation of applications for admission of students to schools. Pérez explained that "from the City Council of Lorca we want to keep all parents and guardians of schoolchildren in the municipality fully informed of the news on the steps to follow in submitting applications for admission of students to the next school year and due to the health crisis situation that we suffer ". The Edil has indicated that "the Ministry of Education of the Region of Murcia has incorporated new electronic signature systems for the presentation of the official documentation necessary for the admission process of students for the 2020/2021 academic year without having to have a digital certificate or electronic DNI ". Pérez Segura explained that "three systems have been implemented, for temporary use, that allow the application to be registered electronically, for which use, simple and intuitive, it will only be necessary to fill in a form with the username and select a password " The Councilor for Education recalled that "the deadline for submitting applications began on March 9, being interrupted due to the declaration of the state of national alarm, and therefore the Ministry will soon announce the extension of the deadlines, once resume all administrative deadlines of a state nature and the school application process can be done electronically.
