The Councilors for Citizen Security and Commerce wanted to thank the workers in the private sector who, like public employees, work day by day attending to the needs of citizens. Francisco Morales, vice mayor and councilor for Commerce, and José Luis Ruiz Guillén, councilor for Citizen Security, accompanied the Lorca Local Police this afternoon at a gesture of gratitude that they wanted to have with private sector workers who are also exposed with his work on the front line, and which has consisted of an emotional collective applause. At 12:00 noon the Local Police officers have made a brief stop to approach the Parque Almenara Shopping Center in order to show their appreciation to their employees, as a token of all the workers from Lorca, and who, like that they continue to work every day for the residents of Lorca. The City Council has wanted to join this tribute since, in these days when the working hours of many employees are especially long and require a greater effort, we see how society also becomes more generous and grateful. The councilors have thus transferred the applause of the Lorca population, through the Local Police, to all the workers who, in the same way as the workers of Emergencies, Health, Security Forces and Corps and public services in general, are also in front line serving the needs of citizens. The applause received has been returned by the employees of the shopping center with the same affection and enthusiasm with which they have received it from the Local Police and the City Council, resulting in an emotional moment of mutual recognition of the work and effort carried out by the entire society in these complicated moments.
