The Councilor for Citizen Security of the City of Lorca, José Luis Ruiz Guillén, has reported the arrest of a person on whom a search and arrest warrant fell, after this Tuesday, April 21, two people suffered the theft of € 1,200 after being robbed at knifepoint.
" José Luis Ruiz Guillén explained that the arrest took place yesterday, Wednesday, April 22, when members of the Local Police, after conducting various surveillance of the places that this person used to frequent, were able to locate and arrest the subject, who I was in the vicinity of the place where I spent the night.
The individual was recognized as the author of the alleged crime without any doubt.
" Ruiz Guillén added that "the preventive / operative actions carried out by the Local Police Corps have allowed the arrest of this person who has numerous records for similar events and had been released from prison a few months ago.
Now he faces a crime of robbery with intimidation.
" The councilor noted that "once again, with these important actions the constant preventive / operational work carried out by the Lorca Local Police is confirmed through the different units in which it is organized and through the surveillance devices that are they establish throughout the municipal term, as well as its coordination with the rest of the Security Forces and Bodies ".
