| With this initiative, the aim is to alleviate the great demand for aid as a consequence of the health crisis | The Parque Almenara Shopping Center (Lorca), managed by LyC CONSULTORES, has carried out, in collaboration with Carrefour, the donation of 1,500 Kg of food and basic necessities to families in Lorca in situations of vulnerability as a consequence of the health crisis that we are living.This solidarity action, supported by the Department of Social Services of the Lorca City Council, aims to help alleviate the high demand for social aid by the most vulnerable families in the municipality.For Rosana García, director of Parque Almenara: "In these difficult times for all, we believe that solidarity, respect and responsibility should guide us.
Therefore, we are very happy to have been able to collaborate with Carrefour to bring some relief to the Lorca families who need it most.
"This solidarity initiative joins those already carried out by LyC CONSULTORES in other shopping centers under its management.
Thus, since the start of the pandemic in Spain, LyC CONSULTORES has managed the delivery of:1000 kits of personal hygiene to the Shelter for homeless people of the Department of Social Action of the City of Alicante (CC Gran Vía Alicante)400 ham and soda sandwiches at the General University Hospital of Alicante and at the San Juan University Hospital (CC Gran Vía Alicante).25 digital tablets to the nursing homes in Lorca in collaboration with Mediamarkt (Parque Almenara, Lorca).Individual protective equipment and cleaning materials at the Rafael Méndez de Lorca University Hospital (Parque Almenara, Lorca).
