Within the framework of the signing of the agreement between the El Gigante Initiatives Foundation (Lorca, Region of Murcia, Spain) and the Murcian Center in Córdoba (Argentina), the first action called the "Reunion Program" is articulated in order to establish a minimum structure of actions to connect families whose ancestors emigrated from Lorca and the Murcia Region to Argentina.We highlight that this "Reunion Program" is launched just in the week that the Murcian Center in Córdoba (Argentina) turns 28 since it was founded by Lázaro Albarracín Pérez (DEP), in 1992.The Murcian Center will look for families of emigrants from Lorca and other towns in the Murcia Region in Argentina and the Fundación Initiatives El Gigante will look for families whose ancestors migrated to America from the Region of Murcia.The objectives set for this program are the following:Publicize the "Reunion Program" both in Spain and Argentina.Finding migrant families from Lorca and the Murcia Region in Argentina.Find families from Lorca and the Region of Murcia whose ancestors migrated to Argentina.Connect families from both continents.Laying the foundations for future exchange actions between families on both continents.The main actions, to be carried out, in this first phase in an "online" manner (for the obvious reasons of confinement) will consist of:Design of the image of the "Reunion Program".Search for old photographs related to the emigration from Lorca and the Region of Murcia to Argentina.Carrying out communication actions through the Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/ProgramareencuentroCentroMurcianoencordoba/Search for other entities to join the program.Creation of a file in the cloud of migrant families.Creation of an online volunteer program to support the program.Search for documentation to create family genealogical trees in public records.Exchange actions design.The program is institutionally supported by the Lorca City Council and by the General Directorate of Open Government and cooperation of the Autonomous Community of the Region of MurciaThe first phase is timed for the year 2,020 and 2021.
