Dozens of families whose only income depends on sale in markets continue to be unable to resume their activity in districts (21/05/2020)

| "because of the mayor of the PSOE" | The PP denounces that the mayor of the PSOE is doing very little on his part to help the self-employed, entrepreneurs and professionals, with the logical rejection of his measures that have already been made public by Ceclor, the Chamber of Commerce and the Platform of AutonomousThe Councilor for Squares and Markets in the City of Lorca for the Popular Party, Mari Huertas García, has demanded the mayor of the PSOE to get to work so that the Lorca families who develop their professional activity as sellers in the traditional markets that are held in our districts they can resume their work.

Many households in Lorca are not entering income to support families due to the stubbornness of the PSOE mayor to prevent the development of these markets.

The circumstance also occurs that in most of the municipalities of our country these markets are already being held again, so we demand that the current local government be sensitive to the difficult circumstances these families are experiencing.A few weeks ago, before the carelessness and paralysis of the mayor of the PSOE, we had to be the representatives of the PP in the City Council who took the initiative and asked that the weekly market on Thursdays in the Huerto de la Rueda compound be recovered.

We did it and last week it became operational, but the laziness of the current local government prevented the markets that serve the neighborhood residents from resuming as well.

It is incongruous that the city council makes these markets impossible, and we insist that they have to recover as soon as possible. The degree of improvisation, neglect and abandonment is such that in the Thursday market they still cannot access a service as basic and necessary as the use of the toilets.

How do you expect these professionals to carry out their work for eight hours, depriving them of the possibility of accessing something as basic as a toilet? We demand that they correct this new nonsense, which adds to the extensive list of nonsense that we are finding by Pedro Sánchez and Diego José Mateos. From the PP we want our economic and productive fabric to be helped to achieve its reactivation, and it is obvious that the mayor of the PSOE is doing very little on his part to make this possible.

We must remember that their measures have raised the unanimous rejection of the institutions and groups of professionals, businessmen and the self-employed, a situation that is aggravated by the blocking of basic "paperwork" issues that they are also unable to solve.

The people of Lorca are fed up with listening to vague excuses and suffering the consequences of an exhausted and crossed arms government team. The mayor of the PSOE is showing himself incapable of managing and solving the problems of the people of Lorca, and in the specific case of the markets that take place in the municipality, it has been the Popular Party that has had to keep marking the march.

Both in this matter and in most of the municipal issues, they are not up to the circumstances, and they act as a drag on the initiatives and claims that we are setting for them.

That is why we have to remind them that exercising the government of the city council means working much more to solve the problems of Lorca.

However, during the eleven months that they have been in charge of the Municipal Council, they are showing total indolence towards the problems of the people.

They are not attending to citizens, who, in the face of the passivity and ineffectiveness of the current local government,They continue to go to the Popular Party so that we are the ones to solve the problems.
