The Emergency and Civil Protection Service of Lorca carries out a significant battery of actions in the area of ??logistics, prevention and psychosocial support against the coronavirus (26/05/2020)

The Councilor for Emergencies and Civil Protection of the City of Lorca, Isabel Casalduero, has reported the battery of actions implemented in the field of logistics, prevention and psychosocial support against the coronavirus. Casalduero explained that "in addition to the tasks of direct fight to end the viral load in critical areas through disinfection, the Emergency Services and Civil Protection are carrying out important tasks in terms of logistics, communication and psychosocial support." The Edil has detailed that "in logistics, the collection and distribution of 30,000 masks and 3,000 screens have been carried out in industrial areas, train and bus stations, urban areas and districts contributed by hundreds of volunteers as well as the Delegation of the Government and, at the beginning of the crisis, an important donation of 5,000 masks was made that was stored by the Emergency Service to the Rafael Méndez Hospital.
