PP: Pedro Sánchez's socio-communist government dilutes aid to cover the costs of the damages caused by DANA with events in 20 other provinces (05/06/2020)

| The PP considers the economic line that the central executive announced on "ridiculous, vague and laughable" last Tuesday, 8 months after the very serious episodes of torrential rain | Damage far exceeds 2,000 million euros, aid is limited to 152The councilor for Agriculture and Rural Development in the town hall of Lorca for the Popular Party, Ángel Meca, has denounced that the government of Spain is bad, late and stingy with the aid to repair the damage caused by DANA last month.

September.

After so much lost time, playing with the restlessness and the problems of the affected municipalities, we have found the shamelessness that they have cut, diluted and mixed the money that they should have dedicated to attend these damages with many other episodes of catastrophes, in such a way that they condemn the municipalities and regional governments to "fight" to get "crumbs".

This is a lack of respect against the people, an insult to common sense, and we have no choice but to affirm that they have laughed at the affected municipalities. The ineffectiveness in the management that the PSOE is demonstrating in the city of Lorca and in the government of Spain is damaging those affected by those heavy rains.

The Pedro Sánchez government, with the applause of the mayor of the PSOE in Lorca, has mixed, cut and diluted the DANA aid from last September with that corresponding to all of the following:Forest fires in the provinces of Toledo and Madrid between June 26 and 28, 2019.The floods of July 8, 2019 in NavarraThe hail storm and floods that occurred on July 8, 2019 in the province of Orense. The episodes of heavy rains that occurred on August 25, 26 and 27, 2019 in the Community of Madrid, the provinces of Zaragoza and Cáceres, the Autonomous Community of La Rioja, the provinces of Segovia, Valladolid, Ávila, Toledo, Ciudad Real, Alicante, Castellón, Valencia, Seville and Malaga, the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia and the Autonomous Community of the Balearic Islands,The forest fires of the 10 and 17 of the month of August 2019 in Gran Canaria. These catastrophes led to losses and expenses on the part of the municipal, provincial and regional administrations that exceed 2,000 million euros, and they have the gall to say that with 152 million they are making an effort to correct everything.

This is indecent. We have to understand that the Prime Minister, Pedro Sánchez, has been very busy purging and persecuting the Civil Guard, and creating beach bars to plug in his "cole" colleagues, but the truth is that he lost many months to have helped those we suffered the damages of the DANA of September.

In fact, he is seen much more comfortable agreeing with ETA's friends and hiding the severity of the coronavirus pandemic than helping people.

It is evident that in politics each one has his objective, ours is to solve people's problems, that of others clinging tooth and nail to the presidential chair, even if it means breaking Spain or getting into the worst economic, social and economic crisis.

labor. In spite of everything, it is the obligation of this city council to work to obtain the economic funds that compensate at least part of the money that the Lorca residents have had to spend, from our municipal coffers, to fix the damage caused by that episode of heavy rains. We already know that the mayor of the PSOE is not going to raise his voice against this outrage, because he prefers to defend his party and Pedro Sánchez before the Lorca, but we demand that he not miss the opportunity to access aid.

We demand that you immediately prepare a catalog with the numerous damages that the DANA of September caused in our municipal area.

From the Popular Party we have been fighting from the first moment to help those affected.

In fact, we had to be the ones to denounce again and again that the socialist government had excluded our entire region from any help line.
