The mayor of Health has indicated that "in a week, after the meeting between the management of Area III of Health and the City of Lorca in which they indicated the parameters to follow for the reopening of the clinics in districts, the Department of Health it has already invested more than 15,000 euros for the installation of protective partitions in the administration areas of all the clinics; the cleaning and repair of the air conditioners recommended by Public Health to prevent them from being sources of virus spread, as well as in the works necessary to adapt the La Hoya office according to the criteria indicated by the Ministry of Health.

" José Ángel Ponce stressed that "from the City of Lorca we continue to carry out the necessary work to guarantee the reopening of the peripheral doctor's offices of the municipal term" and recalled that "since the Ministry of Health ordered the closure of most of these facilities at Since the start of the pandemic, only the offices of Tercia have recovered their activity, partially and adapted to the new normality, since May 18; that of La Torrecilla, since June 10, and that of Cazalla, since today, June 11.

Clinics, which, at the discretion of the Ministry of Health, have not needed adaptation works to reopen their doors and regain their activity.

" Ponce Díaz has detailed that "the offices that, to this day, remain closed are those of El Consejero, Puente La Pía, Campo López, Morata, Aguaderas, Purias, La Escuta, La Campana and Marchena and we want the Ministry to clarify to the neighbors why these will continue to be closed.

In addition, since the start of the pandemic, the Ministry of Health has suppressed pediatric consultations in Almendricos, La Hoya and Ramonete.

The other offices, with variations in their schedules, have remained open for the pandemic.

" The Councilor for Health has insisted that "we care about the health care that our neighbors receive, and for us the medical offices of the districts are untouchable, and we will never give them up.

For this reason, in just 10 days we have We have started all the work that the Ministry of Health has instructed us to open, as soon as possible, these clinics.

From the Lorca City Council we have already carried out the improvements indicated in the La Hoya clinic; we have begun the works in the Morata clinic, and in that of Purias, which, due to the scale of the work, is in the process of evaluating budgets ". The head of the Department of Health has explained that "of the medical offices that are still closed today, the management of Area III of Health has only indicated the need to carry out works to adapt the facilities only in the offices of La Hoya, Morata and Purias, according to the parameters set by the new normality ". The councilor reiterated that "it is evident that this government team complies with its obligation since, in record time, we have shown that our priority is to adapt our offices, according to the indications that the Ministry of Health marks, which is what it marks when and in what way the doctor's offices can be opened so that our neighbors can recover health care in these facilities and that they can do so with maximum security.

" José Ángel Ponce has stated that "in addition to these works that the City Council is undertaking with great effort, the Lorca municipality has made available to the Ministry of Health all the municipal facilities that are attached to medical offices" and has insisted that "The priority for this government is health care." "We do not want the complexity of executing, immediately, works that would take months to be the excuse, and that is why the social premises are open so that they can be reconverted, provisionally, in consulting rooms, since they are perfectly adapted and available as an alternative measure.

and provisional ". Finally, the municipal head of Health has remarked that "it is evident, therefore, that the City Council is committed to reopening these clinics as soon as possible, and we are demonstrating it; doing everything that is asked of us and everything that is in our hand, to avoid that not a single clinic still has to be closed "and he regretted that" it is useless for us to build new works, furnish entire clinics, convert social premises into clinics, if later there are no personnel to pick up the phone, do analysis or consult.
