The mayor of Heritage has indicated that "the objective of this measure was that the hotel establishments could expand as much as possible the space of their terraces to maintain the greatest number of tables of the hotel establishments." Isidro Abellán has detailed that "so far a total of 126 authorization requests have been submitted for the installation of terraces (or for the expansion of the space already authorized), taking advantage of this exceptional and transitory procedure established on the occasion of the health crisis caused by COVID-19 ". Abellán explained that "out of 126 applications submitted, 115 have already been authorized, that is, that there are a total of 115 hospitality establishments in Lorca that have obtained the relevant authorization."
