The City Council opens the deadline to apply for transport aid for high school and vocational training students residing in districts of Lorca (10/07/2020)

"Each student will get a voucher that will allow them to travel, for just one euro and unlimitedly, to their study center on school days and through the use of regular urban transport." The Councilor for Education of the City of Lorca, Antonia Pérez, has informed of the opening of the period for the application for transport aid for students residing in districts to attend the high school study centers and training cycles of the municipality. Pérez announced that "starting tomorrow, the date on which this call for aid will be published in the Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia, all those high school or vocational training students who reside in any of the districts of our large municipal term with urban transport line may apply for this grant.

" The mayor explained that "through this aid, each beneficiary student will obtain a travel voucher, non-transferable, which will allow them to use the regular line of urban buses as many times as necessary to go to their study center, in days classes, and at a cost of only one euro, from October to December of this year 2020.

" Pérez Segura has detailed that "the requirements to access this subsidy are to study at the Baccalaureate or Training Cycles during the academic year 2020-2021 in any of the educational centers located in the urban nucleus of Lorca and to reside in some district of the municipal area in which, to travel to the educational center, there is regular intercity public transport on regular school days corresponding to the academic calendar.

" The Councilor for Education has indicated that "the request, which can be found on the website of the Lorca City Council (www.lorca.es), in the Department of Education and in the centers where these post-compulsory education teachings are taught, and They will preferably be presented electronically through the Electronic Office of the Lorca City Council until September 9 ".
