It is a text severely corrected and deeply corrected with respect to the version that Mr.
Mateos approved at the Governing Board a few weeks ago, and that raised a social conflict with Lorca farmers.
Furthermore, the agreements that, for the moment, we have been able to observe, are practically the same as those contained in the motion that the Popular Party managed to reach consensus a few years ago with all the political groups, ranchers and neighbors, and that, minutes before its approval in the plenary session of the city council, he suffered a boycott of IU and PSOE.
They have wasted our time, when this could have been solved years ago, but then neither PSOE nor IU wanted,and torpedoed an agreement very similar to the one they now present.Mr.
Mateos has suffered a great defeat, a bath of good sense and humility, which he was lacking.
As we already said, it has happened to him just like his boss Pedro Sánchez, he has collided with reality, and he has no choice but to back down.At the moment, the local government gives up on a document that attacked the entire sector, an absolute nonsense, a "historical and hysterical" error.Thanks to the work carried out by the ranchers and the neighbors themselves, the new text seems more logical, and it is noted that this group has managed to put common sense before the reckless challenge against the sector that the mayor of the Socialists proposed.
Mr Mateos has had to rectify and reverse.We have to remember that Mr.
Mateos had already to back down, desist from convening an extraordinary plenary session, to suspend the granting of licenses, he was forced to withdraw the initial motion that he had approved in the Governing Board and now he will have to assume a text that has nothing to do with the attempt that I wanted to carry out.
The worst of all this is that we had already warned him from the Popular Party, but he ignored it.
It is not possible to condemn an ??entire sector, on which the bread of hundreds of Lorca families depends, to fulfill the already famous, undeniable pacts of the current mayor.What Mr Mateos has to do is stop experimenting and put himself in the first line of defense of livestock, as his predecessors did in office.
The livestock groups are the first to require their associates to comply with all the regulations on their farms, and they never deserved this "attempt", which they have left parked today.We have to regret that Mr.
Mateos has never had the opinion of the Popular Party.
We must remind you that the Special Commission for the Reconciliation of Pig Farms and Homes established by the Popular Party in the city council, did integrate from the first moment all the political groups with municipal representation, so we do not share the “lurch” that has come up with this matter.
