Pérez Martínez explained that this is a request made by the residents themselves to the Popular Party, to which is added the repair of the road, continuation of the existing public lighting, as well as the reinforcement of traffic signs on Camino Viejo del Puerto , with the aim of avoiding risky situations, since this road is being used at rush hour as an alternative route to the Mediterranean Highway and to the 340 national highway.
A series of circumstances that are similarly repeated in Camino Cabalgadores, reason why we demand that it proceed immediately to fix the road, which has deteriorated greatly. The residents of La Torrecilla have also told us about the road safety problems that the lack of maintenance in the municipal network of roads and highways is generating in this district, especially with the deterioration of the horizontal signage.
Therefore, we urge the current local government, in coordination with the Neighborhood Association, to carry out the repainting of the damaged road markings, as well as the placement of the necessary vertical signs to guarantee traffic safety. Road safety problems are further aggravated considering that the clearing and cleaning work of communication routes in the hamlet are totally abandoned.
We demand that the clearing of the margins of the Azagaor, Velopache and Alcolea roads be carried out immediately, at least, whose vegetation invades the road, preventing visibility, and hindering the double direction of movement of vehicles. María Belén Pérez has affirmed that the PSOE has stopped Lorca, and today we are faced with a new example that the residents of La Torrecilla suffer in the first person, who feel abandoned by the government of Mr Mateos, Pedro Sánchez de Lorca, who does not deals with solving people's problems.
The apathy that our districts suffer confirms that the current local government is a failed, exhausted and inoperative group that has turned its back on citizens. Neither the residents of La Torrecilla nor anyone understands how it is possible that Mr.
Mateos has not already remedied this situation, given that the city council now has more money than ever thanks to the PP's management in recent years, as already The mayor of the socialists has recognized.
Neither does anyone understand how it is possible that now that all of us from Lorca pay more taxes than a year ago, the state of conservation, cleaning and vigilance of the municipality is the worst that is remembered. From the Popular Party we have repeatedly denounced the state of total abandonment to which our districts are being subjected, as well as the need for urgent actions to be carried out in them, actions that had been carried out on a regular basis, and in permanent contact with neighborhood representatives, and which in the last year have not been attended to, putting in some cases the safety of people who circulate on certain roads, due to the lack of maintenance of some of the infrastructures. It is one of the districts with the greatest endowment in terms of infrastructure, since it is home to two of Lorca's industrial estates, "Saprelorca", very close to the border with Puerto Lumbreras and "Los Peñones".
Also located in the hamlet are the Rafael Méndez General University Hospital, the Torrecilla Sports City, La Torrecilla Public School, and the Francisco Artés Carrasco municipal soccer field.
In addition, it is crossed by the Mediterranean Highway and by the Tajo-Segura Transfer.
All this implies an intense flow of traffic that daily transits through the different routes that run through the aforementioned hamlet, so that security measures both in traffic and in the maintenance of roads and highways must be constant by the current government group,attending to the just and necessary requests of the neighbors.
