Given the risk of spread and contagion of the COVID-19 and with the aim of promoting prevention by avoiding unnecessary risks both for Lorca, tourists and visitors and for the staff dependent on this department, we report that:· Until further notice, depending on the circumstances and / or the instructions that may come from the competent authorities, the following measures have been adopted:- Temporary suspension of all guided tours organized by the Department of Tourism of the City of Lorca with Lorca Taller del Tiempo.- Temporary closure of the facilities of the Castle of Lorca such as Torres, Synagogue or Cisterns, as well as the Exhibition of the Visitors Center located in the Old convent of La Merced.- They will remain open, respecting the limitations of capacity, both the grounds of the Castle of Lorca and the cafeteria-restaurant "Las caballerizas del Castillo", which has the seal of "Safe Hospitality".- The three tourist information points in Lorca will remain open, serving the public: Tourist Office (Plaza de España), Visitor Center (Old Convent of La Merced) and Castillo de Lorca.· Requests and queries are answered through the official RRSS of Tourism, the e-mails lorcaturismo@lorca.es and info@lorcatallerdeltiempo.com as well as on the phone numbers + 34 968 44 19 14 and + 34 968 47 90 03 in Monday to Friday from 10 a.m.
to 6:30 p.m.
and Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m.
to 2 p.m.· We invite you to continue learning about our municipality and its heritage through the various digital proposals created for it, such as the initiatives of "Share a heritage full of stories" or "Lorca on streaming".
The latter allows a virtual visit live through an official guide with whom you can interact directly.
