The mayor of Citizen Security of Lorca, José Luis Ruiz Guillén, has indicated that "these data are the result of the intense work carried out, among others for mobility controls, between 0 and 8 hours, in the transport of workers in vans and other vehicles ". The Councilor for Citizen Security of the City of Lorca, José Luis Ruiz Guillén, has reported, this morning, of the actions that the Local Police of Lorca has carried out, during this past week, related, above all, to the Covid-19 . The Councilor for Citizen Security has explained that "continuing with the work that has been carried out in the municipality for the correct compliance with the security measures in the face of the coronavirus pandemic, with the reinforcement of the work and the special operations that were carried out during this last week, which has consisted of an intense work in which, among others, has insisted on mobility controls, between 0 and 8 hours, for all those breaches in the transport of workers in vans and cars ". José Luis Ruiz Guillén has detailed that "during the last week of August, between the 24th and 30th, 101 controls were carried out, 643 persons were identified and 1,250 vehicles were controlled.

A total of 310 complaints have been filed for for non-compliance with the mandatory use of the mask, either incorrectly or not wearing it directly; 89 for not respecting the number of occupants in the vehicle and 13 for smoking on public roads without respecting the minimum distance of two meters, a total of 30 complaints for not complying with the municipal ordinance of Citizen Coexistence, 16 for holding meetings of more than 6 people, and another 7 complaints for non-compliance with the mandatory quarantine period ". José Luis Ruiz Guillén has specified that "also this past weekend a total of 9 complaints have been made for non-compliance with the capacity allowed in the premises, so these establishments had to be evicted, in one case up to a total of 100 people on the terraces of the same premises, and another 8 complaints for not respecting the established closing hours ". Surveillance has also been increased on the sports courts of the urban area and the districts, in this sense 20 young people were evicted from the tracks of the Las Alamedas Pavilion last Friday afternoon, and control has been intensified in usual areas for the practice of the bottle in districts, especially in the Rincón de Carranza, La Parroquia, Almendricos, La Paca, and in other areas of the urban area such as 'La Quinta', the vicinity of the Castle and the University Campus, the riverbed, for which The use of aerial means such as the drone has also been used, in addition to surveillance on foot, in patrols, also in civilian clothes and the sweeps that have been carried out especially in the neighborhoods where the reference health center Lorca-Centro, Lorca -Sur and Lorca San Diego is at "red level" and the contagion rate is high, to check the level of compliance with the mandatory measures ". In another vein, the Chief Commissioner of the Local Police of Lorca, José Antonio Sansegundo, has indicated that "to the work directly related to the pandemic must be added other tasks for traffic control that have resulted in the arrest of four people (three during the weekend); one for lacking a driving license and exceeding the permitted BAC, another for driving without the relevant permit, another for driving under the influence of alcohol, to which are added another three administrative penalties for breathalyzer and for driving with the expired Vehicle Inspection (ITV). In this sense, within these actions, several young people have also been arrested, who could be related to the burning of several containers in recent weeks.

Specifically, this past Saturday night in Calle Jerónimo Santa Fe with Juan XXIII, a group of minors is observed fleeing towards José Mouliaá street, verifying a strong smell of burning in the area.

A neighbor alerted us that they were setting fire to several containers.

The suspects were intercepted carrying several lighters.

They are transferred in front of their guardians, with the corresponding certificate of delivery of the minor, likewise the proceedings were initiated for the possible damages that may be attributed to them. Finally, the mayor of Citizen Security has reiterated that "we will continue to be implacable with all those who do not comply with the mandatory regulations, thus putting everyone's health at risk."
