| To continue advancing in the environmental efficiency of waste management in our municipality | In the meeting held together with the counselor, the general director and the manager of the Consortium for Solid Waste Management of the Region of Murcia, the interest in acting in coordination with the rest of the public administrations and institutions to continue making Lorca a sustainable municipality at the service of the environmentThe Deputy Mayor of Lorca and Councilor for Public Companies, Francisco Morales, has held a working meeting with the Minister of Water, Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and the Environment, Antonio Luengo, with the aim of continuing to advance in improving environmental efficiency in the waste management of our municipality.At the meeting, which was also attended by the General Director of the Environment, Francisco Marín, the manager of the Consortium for Solid Waste Management of the Region of Murcia, Gregorio Morales and the director of the municipal company LIMUSA, Francisco Ibáñez Aspects related to improving environmental efficiency in terms of waste management have been addressed in Lorca and, therefore, in the Region of Murcia, given the supra-municipal importance of Lorca facilities.Francisco Morales has stated that "in the meeting held yesterday with the Ministry of the Environment, we have discussed important aspects to continue making progress in making our waste management plant an example of environmental sustainability.
Our objective is to consolidate it as a benchmark in terms of ecological issues, efficiency and use in this type of facilities.
To this end, we will continue setting new goals under this strategy coordinated with the regional coalition government.
