. The Councilor for the Information Society of the City of Lorca, Irene Jódar, recalled the need to retune televisions before September 30 due to the changes in broadcast frequency. Jódar has indicated that "in order to continue enjoying television content with a normal operation of our televisions, it is necessary to carry out their retuning because in the next few days the changes in the broadcasting frequency of the television channels made by the government of Spain". The mayor has detailed that "residents in medium or large buildings that are equipped with collective antenna systems based on monochannels or programmable switchboards and who have not adapted their collective antenna before, should contact a specialized company to adapt their installation of television reception ". Jódar Pérez explained that "on the other hand, once this change takes place, single-family homes and small buildings will not need to make any adaptation to their television reception facilities, only the receivers of TV". The Councilor for the Information Society has shown that "to compensate the expenses associated with the adaptation of the television reception facilities, the government of Spain, through the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation, has made available to the communities of owners, the property managers and the telecommunications installers a plan of aid that they may request, once these adaptations have been made, through the website www.televisiondigital.es ". Irene Jódar has reported that "the amount of these grants will range between 104.3 and 677.95 euros depending on the type of adaptation that must be carried out in the building and the amount of additional equipment that needs to be installed".
