The mayor of the Treasury, Isidro Abellán, has asked the central and regional administration for more involvement with the Town Halls "that we are in the front line of battle and assuming practically all the daily needs". The Councilor for the Treasury of the Lorca City Council, Isidro Abellán, took stock this morning of the Lorca Covid19 control and monitoring table, which met, this Wednesday, to assess the situation of the pandemic in our municipality and the measures adopted to alleviate the consequences caused by this health crisis. Isidro Abellán has detailed "the data of the expenses and income that have been made, so far, on the occasion of the pandemic and of which we reported yesterday at the meeting of the Covid-19 Control and Monitoring Table in Lorca" . The mayor of the Treasury explained that "in the Income section, the local administration has received 59,517.65 euros from donations and contributions made through groups and associations (€ 25,927.65), individuals (€ 9,390) and companies (€ 14,200); from the subsidy from the Autonomous Community from the State for basic benefits in Social Services, a total of € 354,918; and on the other, the money from the Autonomous Community for school canteens, 69,222.40 euros.
adding a total amount of 483,658.05 euros ". Abellán Chicano has specified that "there are many expenses that we are facing from the Consistory related to Covid-19.
As for the Solidarity Table, € 60,888.52 has been allocated to the acquisition of sanitary material and for work of fumigation, thermometers, adaptation of the Covid de Campillo Point, ...); in New Technologies, € 2,069 for the purchase of tablets that were made available to users of the different residences for the elderly in the municipality; € 27,115 for the acquisition of material for the manufacture of masks, purchase of products for disinfection, placement of informative posters in social premises, clinics and other points of the municipality; another € 6,200 for the acquisition of disinfectant products for the districts, purchase of food for social assistance (€ 1,250) " . The Councilor for the Treasury has referred to other expenses such as € 381,940 from Social Services of aid to cover basic needs of families; dining grants for children, food aid for families affected by Covid; in Occupational Risk Prevention, € 62,436.88 for the acquisition of PPE and material for the adaptation of municipal offices for the safety of workers and users; € 3,316 in Local Police for the acquisition of material such as hydroalcoholic gels, EPI's, ...; € 5,023 in Emergencies for disinfection equipment and groups; in Health, € 80,279 for the works to adapt the medical offices and the cleaning and disinfection of the Covid de Campillo Point; and finally, the € 14,327 that was allocated to the start-up of the rest area and Provisioning for Transporters that was installed in the Francisco Artés Carrasco Stadium.
In total, all these expenses reach 608,213 euros, to which must be added the 700,000 euros that the City Council has arranged for subsidies to merchants and the self-employed, which amounts to 1,308,213 euros ". Abellan Chicano has specified that the result of the Covid account until the end of August shows a deficit of -825,000 euros, not including the expenses that are being made during this month of September, about € 25,000, among which are the adequacy about 10,000 euros from the new Covid point at the Santa Quiteria Fairgrounds (Ifelor); the new disinfection campaigns in districts and urban areas and the start-up of the municipal trackers team (13,000 euros) ". Finally, the mayor of the Treasury has assured that "we will continue to face the necessary expenses related to this pandemic, but we also demand that both the central and regional administrations get more involved with the municipalities, which are on the front line of battle and assuming almost all daily expenses.
