He lives with a non-contributory pension of 350 euros and his family fears that he could stay on the street if the Autonomous Community and the City Council, which have seized 33.33% of the farm where he lives, decide to collect the the debt through the sale of this participation in public auction.The two children of the affected, who were unaware of the defaults until an aunt picked up the embargo a few weeks ago, have shown their "total willingness" to settle with the City the debts of their mother for traffic fines (although infractions they were not committed by her) and by the Tax on Mechanical Traction Vehicles.

"We believe that the degree of mental disability of this neighbor seriously affected her decision-making capacity and conditioned the way in which she tried to assert her rights in front of the administration," said Martín.The councilor of IU-Verdes assured that, in any case, the drama experienced by those affected by the earthquakes of 2011 and the complexity of the process of granting and justifying the aid to repair damaged homes, "should never have the consequence that someone could lose their home.
