The Councilor for Citizen Security, José Luis Ruiz Guillén, has detailed that "of the total of the sanctions carried out, 126 have taken place this past weekend, among which the 38 stand out for not respecting the restrictions of movement through the urban area and the 15 for meetings of more than six people ". The Councilor for Citizen Security of the City of Lorca, José Luis Ruiz Guillén, has taken stock, this morning, of the actions carried out, during this past week, related to the breach of sanitary measures to prevent the spread of Covid- 19. The mayor of Citizen Security has detailed that this past week, between September 21 and 27, a total of 232 sanctions have been filed, of which the 69 stand out for non-compliance with the use of the mask or wearing it incorrectly; 56 for not respecting the traffic restrictions in urban areas; 36 complaints about the protection of citizen security; 19 for breach of the quarantine period; 16 for not respecting the capacity of premises, allowing consumption at the bar and not complying with closing hours; 15 for meetings of more than six people; 11 for violation of the Citizen Coexistence Ordinance; 9 for non-compliance with the number of occupants in vehicles; and one for smoking on public roads without respecting the minimum distance of two meters.

" José Luis Ruiz Guillén added that "a total of 95 controls have been carried out; 1,802 persons have been identified and 1,838 vehicles have been controlled". Regarding the sanctions that correspond to last weekend, Ruiz Guillén explained that a total of 33 controls have been carried out between September 25 and 27, 655 people and 626 vehicles have been identified.

In addition, a total of 126 complaints have been filed, of which 37 are due to the non-use or incorrect use of the mandatory mask; 38 complaints for not respecting traffic restrictions in the urban area; 16 for non-compliance with capacity in stores, allowing drinks in the neighborhood and not respecting closing hours; as well as 15 other complaints for meetings of more than 6 people ". Ruiz Guillén highlighted that "we have noticed a decrease in the number of sanctions filed by the Local Police, since last week they stood at 400, although it must be remembered that the intensity of the controls remains the same, thanks mainly to that the pedagogical work we are doing is bearing fruit and thanks also to the great awareness that the vast majority of the Lorca population has, which we cannot destroy due to the irresponsibility of a small group ". Finally, the Councilor for Citizen Security has stressed that "in addition to all the actions related to the coronavirus, from the Lorca Local Police staff they continue to attend to ordinary questions, so once again I want to highlight the commendable work they are doing the agents for the correct fulfillment of all sanitary norms and to preserve the safety of our neighbors ".
