The Department of Sports will offer from this Thursday sessions of activities directed outdoors in the CD Felipe VI (29/09/2020)

These directed activities, which will be taught in the rear parking lot of the facility, are in addition to the existing ones and intend that users have more alternatives in the face of the COVID-19 situation that we are experiencing. The Councilor for Sports of the Lorca City Council, Irene Jódar, has presented, this morning, the activities that the new municipal offer of the Felipe VI Sports Complex will include from this next Thursday, October 1.

These directed sessions, which will be held outside the sports facility, can be carried out by all those users who currently prefer to opt for outdoor sports, and by those who want to complete the activities they already do indoors. The councilor for Sports explained that "these classes will be held at the back of the facility, which is being refurbished these days, providing it with lighting and signaling of the positional marks.

Therefore, a class will be established from Monday to Friday daily in the morning, at 10:30 a.m., and another in the afternoon, at 8:00 p.m.

from this Thursday, with sessions that will be varied with activities such as gap, pilates or zumba, and that places will continue to be reserved, previously, in the page of reservasdeportes.lorca.es ". Irene Jódar has highlighted that "this Thursday both the session at 10:30 am, as well as in the afternoon, at 8:00 pm will be a free open day for all attendees with a maximum capacity of 18 people per class to be completed according to the order of arrival ". Jódar Pérez highlighted that "these classes are designed, as one more option, to minimize risks and to encourage the population to practice sports.

They will have a very small capacity, in which the minimum possible material will be used, and Those who attend it will not have to go through the interior of the facility, except for procedures at reception or pay their subscription.

Nor will it be necessary to access changing rooms, since they are designed for users to come from home changed and then return to their homes The schedules of these classes are also selected to make sessions compatible by all those users who want to link the outdoor activity after finishing an indoor one or vice versa.

" Finally, the councilor has remarked that "from the Department of Sports, we are working to offer all citizens, regardless of age, different and wide alternatives so that we can all play sports despite the difficult situation we are experiencing caused by the Covid-19.
