The Councilor for Health of the City of Lorca, José Ángel Ponce, has reported on the fumigation work that is planned for tomorrow, Friday, October 2, in the area of ??Las Alamedas de Lorca, within its pest control powers in the municipality. The mayor of Health has explained that "the work, which will begin at 8 in the morning, has the objective of controlling mosquito populations by performing a treatment with adulticides in this area of ??the municipality, so the population is recommended not to use this area for walks or physical activity until 10 am ". José Ángel Ponce recalled that "the residents of this area are recommended to close the windows of their homes during the treatment and not to leave their pets outside, as could be the case of bird cages, to remove feeders and troughs for animals, which do not leave clothes hanging, avoid the walk of domestic animals preventing their access to the interior of the green areas, as well as other usual measures in these cases ".
