| The City Council of Lorca reports the activation, by the State Meteorological Agency, of the yellow warning for gusts of wind of up to 70 kilometers per hour | Isabel Casalduero has advised that objects that may fall on public roads be secured; avoid cornices, trees or walls; be especially careful when driving and, in coastal areas, stay away from the waves. The Councilor for Emergencies of the City of Lorca, Isabel Casalduero, has reported the activation of the yellow warning for wind forecast, by the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet), for tomorrow in different areas of the Region of Murcia, including the Guadalentín Valley and the coast. The mayor explained that "Aemet has activated the yellow alert due to the winds expected within the storm 'Álex' that is expected to reach the Region of Murcia during the day tomorrow and to Lorca between 12 and 24 hours and leave winds of level 7, reaching gusts of up to 70 kilometers per hour in the Guadalentín Valley ". Casalduero has detailed that "force 7 coastal phenomena with waves of up to 4 meters high also fall within the forecasts, so we ask for caution in this regard also in the coastal area that our municipality has. The Councilor for Emergencies has advised "to secure doors, windows and all those objects that may fall onto the public road; stay away from cornices, trees, walls or buildings under construction or cranes that may come off; exercise extreme caution when driving, especially at the exit tunnels, overtaking and crossing with heavy vehicles on two-way roads and, in maritime areas, try to get away from the beach and other low places that may be affected by the waves ". Isabel Casalduero has indicated that "the reason for the stormy winds, coming from an explosive cyclogenesis over the English Channel and that will leave heavy rains and winds of up to 80 kilometers per hour throughout the peninsula."
