The collapse of the Civil Registry and the Social Security Treasury prevents Lorca from completing the procedures to access social bonds for water and electricity (02/10/2020)

This delay means that in many cases Lorca's residents cannot obtain the documents they need to access social bonds for the payment of basic supplies, such as electricity and water. The personnel who attend these services is abandoned by the central administration, without any support and having to assume the logical reproaches of the citizens.

However, we must emphasize that the only culprit for this collapse is the socialist government of Pedro Sánchez, which continues to punish our municipality with the applause of the current mayor. Mari Huertas García explained that the situation has caused officials not even to have time available or to pick up the phone, despite the fact that citizens have no other way to obtain an appointment.

In the same way, we consider out of all logic that at this point and with the technological resources that we have, it is still not possible to carry out this type of management via telematics, as it can be done in a generalized and habitual way in a crowd in the practically all subjects.

The introduction of information technology advances reaches the entire population, and the government of Spain has to take advantage of this circumstance to bring and facilitate the procedures to citizens.

It is an absolute and unnecessary delay that in the XXI century citizens are still subjected to go personally to complete this type of procedure. We must point out that, in the case of Social Security, there is the option of requesting a previous appointment online and by phone, but when this option is chosen, it turns out that such an appointment cannot be obtained because there is no date, with the consequent frustration and waste of time
