October 4, 2020) After having carried out all the PCR of the admitted patients, professionals from the hospital area and close contacts, the management of the center has decided to extend the PCR screening to all the hospital services, as well as the accompanying staff of patients who are in the center . This morning a COVID sampling point was installed to test these extra personnel from their own vehicle and without having to enter the center.
Likewise, patients with hospital discharge within the virus transmission window have been summoned, and these results will be available over the next 12 hours. The center's medical team completed the sectorization plan this afternoon, and its implementation is scheduled for tonight.
Although the non-hospital areas of the center have not been affected by this incident, the hospital has decided to postpone until Tuesday the activities already planned in order to implement the new segregated access circuits to these areas.
All users have been informed and new appointments have been scheduled for them. No new positives have been reported so far, and the hospital operates normally in all internal services.
