The effort of the professionals of our Local Police, Civil Guard and National Police is being exceptional, but it is evident that the system established by the city council and the government delegation does not respond to the proposals that have been put on the table, so We demand that both administrations learn from experience and correct these failures as soon as possible.It is not only a matter of establishing the presence of agents on certain roads, but of specifying the objective pursued, because it is not normal that, for example, last weekend there was no type of control with law enforcement officers to guarantee that the measure that prevents those who reside in this area of ??the municipality from leaving the urban area were effectively complied with.

Nobody understands how it is possible that, with the seriousness of the situation we are suffering, there has been such laxity in the communication routes, a circumstance to which is added the imperceptible presence of agents on the street in the urban area.The reality that people from Lorca are exposing us daily is that there are people who continue to skip the restrictions, breach quarantines and putting us all in danger, and in light of this reality, both the town hall with our Local Police, as well as the government delegation through the Police National and Civil Guard, have to optimize their response.

What we citizens want is that people be protected by controlling those who are not capable of controlling themselves.

We are aware that you cannot put a police officer for each citizen, but what cannot be is that the same person, who is known to have this disease, is walking around the city and even starring in altercations, something that has already happened .If in order to guarantee compliance with these measures, the number of local police, national police and civil guards that currently has our municipal district has to be strengthened, that is done immediately, but we want there to be the presence of police officers watching our streets, which is what citizens deserve and the situation demands.

This can be done quickly by the government delegation and maintained for the duration of this flexible Phase 1.The people of Lorca have been supporting the restrictions imposed by Phase 1 since last September 15, which are seriously damaging merchants, hoteliers and freelancers.

We fully share the feeling of frustration and concern of these professionals who have told us that there is no rigorous monitoring to stop this type of harmful behavior.

From the PP we want exactly the same as our productive fabric; that the measures of this Phase 1 are not prolonged any longer.
